Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and direct major complex projects. This role involves leading one or more project teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage, direct, and plan significant projects, overseeing one or more project teams.
- Execution and Reporting: Oversee daily project execution, managing resources, costs, scope, and deadlines. Ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Coordination and Implementation: Plan, develop, and implement business projects. Recommend strategies, actions, and alternatives to support business decisions within the project scope.
- Project Management: Develop and maintain integrated project estimates, work plans, and resource plans. Control project scope, ensuring deliverables meet timelines, budget, and objectives.
- Change Management: Communicate proposed changes to activities, schedules, costs, and impacts to sponsors. Manage changes according to approved recommendations.
- Vendor Management: Handle vendor relationships and contractual obligations with all project vendors.
- Issue Resolution: Identify, document, assign, and track project issues through to resolution.
- Project Closure: Confirm achievement of project objectives, verify, and document results. Formalize acceptance of the project deliverables by the sponsor.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree preferred, but will consider experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 6 years of IT project management experience
- Financial services industry experience is required

Education:
- PMP Certification (Preferred)
